PURPOSE STATEMENT: FRIENDS OF THE ODD BODS INC.
"The purposes for which the proposed incorporated association is established are:

To keep alive the memory of the Odd Bods, the service they gave to King and Country and to keep the Nation mindful of its debt to those who made the Supreme Sacrifice, by:-

(a) mounting a parade on Anzac Day of each year and marching behind the Odd Bods U.K. Association banner. The banner shall be carried at the head of any Association contingent in any other parade in which the Association participates, but in all cases preceded by a “Friends of the Odd Bods” sign;
(b) meeting in Annual Reunion, such date to be arranged by the committee;
(c) conducting an annual Pilgrimage to the Forecourt of the Shrine of Remembrance, Melbourne, on the anniversary of VE Day, 8 May 1945, or as near to that anniversary as is practicable;
(d) offering Odd Bod families practical aid and assistance wherever possible;
(e) working in the interests of ex-service personnel, and airmen in particular, and supporting other Associations and groups with similar aims and objectives;
(f) adopting the Motto for the Association, viz: “Pressing On – Remembering”."
